Abington Park, Northampton

The park also contains a number of buildings and structures of historical importance like this water tower and pigeonary built in 1774. The tower was restored in the mid 1900s when repairs to the stonework and sluice area were cleaned.
It was a beautiful autumnal day, given over to significant amounts of sunshine, quite warm in fact. I love walking through the fallen leaves, reminds me always of Lausanne in Switzerland where I happened to be on a business trip during the autumn, quite a few years ago now and the colours were reminiscent of our time in New England.
