Ice on the creek

It was 22F (below 0C)  this morning and I knew the really shallow places at the creek would be iced over.  I love to see the ice formations..sometimes I can even see it freeze and grow designs.  But this morning, I saw this cottonwood leaf just sitting on the ice.  

For some reason I found it beautiful.
