Good Dog!

This is Gracie, my friend Jesse's dog, who made her debut here way back in February 2012. Gracie is five now, and enjoys her time in Jesse's art studio, as well as at home. 

I enjoyed reading my earlier journal entry about Jesse and Gracie, and noting the changes. One big change is that Jesse now lives within walking distance of the farmers' market, and her art studio is in a building right across the street. It's now much easier for her to bring her Little Red Artcart, replete with appealing prints, cards, magnets, and perpetual calendars, to the market on Saturdays -- no bus ride needed! Jesse also has her work on Etsy now, which allows her to reach potential buyers all over the world -- another big change since 2012.

Something that hasn't changed is how much we enjoy each other's company when we get together for lunch, as we did today. We're both writers and "women of a certain age" who've had challenges in our lives, made positive changes, and relish each day. Jesse's new larger prints, several of which can be seen in the extra photo, reflect her approach to life -- take a look!
