THE PARK

A bastion of Scarborough, UK is Peasholm Park.

The park is currently celebrating 100 years in existence and is a major attraction in this seaside resort. Built on land originally called Tuckers Field, the gardens are still set in a Japanese style and Naval Warfare battles are held twice a week in the summer season.

Nearby this park is now supported by the Open Air Theatre, which can seat 6000 and is the largest in Europe. Amongst the visitors last year was Elton John.
