Peace in the kitchen?

I like the vague idea of a self-portrait somewhere in that ladle and also the reflection of the mashers off the paint on the wall. As I've called myself "cookingisgood" , it seemed sensible to do something with a slightly culinary feel ... also, options were limited at 21:30!

No idea how much I'll do with this whole photo-blog thing as I'm a snapper rather than a photographer and up 'til now the camera has only really come out on specific events and occasions. Also, up 'til now I've never kept a diary/blog in any form so it's all a bit new and scary...but hey, I'll try anything once!
