Elton & Beck

Last night was the Oracle Appreciation Event on Treasure Island in SF bay.

They bussed tens of thousands of delegates from the Oracle and Java conferences out to the venue. There was an endless supply of food, beer and wine. There were long queues for fairground attractions and the ferris wheel. And then there was a concert.

First up was Elton John, who played a storming 2 hour gig through his entire back catalogue of crowd pleasers. Then Beck came on at 11.30, but I only stayed for four or five tracks due to imminent exhaustion.
