Seaweed.

I booked us on a fossil walk this morning in Charmouth. We dragged the teenagers along ( they were initially not keen- it was either the early start, the pouring rain or the group activity...). However when we started to find fossils, they were hooked! We found some ammonites, fossilised tree bark, but most importantly a large section of a fossilised tree.

We then made a short stop to Moores- the Dorset Knob bakery and home for lunch.

We thought we would have one more dog walk ( Islay had to be on the lead this morning), so drove to Eype beach. It was much quieter than the other beaches and we were able to have a lovely walk along the shoreline just before the sun went down. I loved the shapes of this piece of seaweed.
