Sheep

We've only had two sheep in the field which is next to us this year so far. They seem quite happy in the company of the horses but today was the first time they have wandered nearer the house. One was having a lovely sleep under the trees in the sunshine.
I've helping David most of the day with his book and college work. Trying to reduce a character count for a grant application and trying to increase some for an essay.
David has sent one book to the British Library and another 5 more books need to go to Edinburgh to be sent to The Bodleian Libraries, Oxford, The University Library ,Cambridge, National library of Scotland , National library of Wales and the Library College, Dublin. All a legal requirement when publishing a book, by  law, in place since 1662, a copy of every print publication must be given to the British Library by its publisher and to five other major libraries that request it.  Legal Deposit  ' helps to ensure that the nation's published output'' is collected systematically , to preserve the material for the use of future generations and to make it available for readers within the designated legal deposit libraries'.  Publishing a book is not as straight forward as it seems, the next one should be easier :)
The extra shows Davids books ready for the book signing tomorrow.
