PEARLS A DIAMOND

This Evening we had Meg Johnson, better known as Pearl from Emmerdale (sorry to those from far off lands who done know about our soap opera's), she has been a friend of my wife for twelve years or so but today was the first time I've met her, what a nice lady, she gave my oldies a marvellous insight into what its like to be a jobbing Actress, she's worked with some of the good and the great in her fifty odd years on the stage, lots of funny anecdotes and a bit of a song at the end, not just a Pearl, not just a Diamond but a real Star.
