TRYING TO GET INTO HIS CAR

Twice a week, all of us who own a car in NYC and park it on the street,
must move it, making way for the street cleaner to come by with
his truck and brushes.

The street cleaner had already cleaned this morning, but, still, I was
committed to sitting in the car until 11am rolled around,
at which time I could leave.

The fellow behind me was having a hard time with his keys, however,
he finally found the one that fit.

If you leave your car unattended during the appointed hour and half, you risk getting a sizable ticket from an unsympathetic police person, so I take my knitting/crocheting/book/newspaper etc. and it's not a strain waiting out the hour and half.
