Phil's Truck, Trailed By a Red Buick

This gorgeous red convertible appeared overnight across the street. I have to say that I don't care for the photo that much, but I couldn't resist the car. Oddly enough I see this scene as a drawing, not a photo. There are a couple palm trees out of the frame and to the right, and they absolutely belong with the car. Maybe you recognize the truck from previous blips. I know I am remembering a San Francisco painter here--okay I'll stop and look it up. It's Robert Bechtle. To think I live across the street from a living Bechtle painting!
