My Backyard Maple

As it turns out, I didn't have to wander too far to find today's photo. 
Let me introduce you to the magnificent Miss Maple, who gloriously inhabits my backyard.
It rained all day yesterday and the wind set up howling today so I fear all of her golden finery will soon be joining the rest of their erstwhile companions as they weave their Autumn tapestry across the waning blades of grass.
But for now, the view is simply stunning. :)
