Never again

Recently, I skipped writing much here, but today I think a little explanation is order. My photo shows the Star of David in the gate of the Jewish shrine of the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site. At least 200,000 people were incarcerated in Dachau concentration camp from 1933 to 1945, and up to 41,500 were murdered (shot, hung, worked to death, medical experimentation) there.

"Nie wieder" - "Never again" is the motto of the memorial site, to emphasize that an atrocity like the Holocaust musn't ever happen again.
