Bennachie from Hill of Cloverycrook

Another thoroughly dreich morning gave way to an afternoon of bright sunshine. I took a stroll up to the clumps along the ridge of the Hill of Cloverycrook, to the west of the main A947 Oldmeldrum to Fyvie road between Corehill and the Mill of Burns. This was the view looking west from the third of the four clumps, at around 15:40 this afternoon.

The outline of Bennachie is just visible on the horizon, against the glare of the late afternoon sun
