Commemoration Window - Ashbourne

This rather lovely windows commemorates two sisters who died tragically in a house fire. The sisters are in the widow either side of S Cecilia who is listening to the organ music. The lower section illustrates the Tree of Life and the River flowing through the Heavenly City - which is barred by thorns in the central picture.It was designed by Christopher Whall.
