Room for improvement

Not a question - an emphatic Statement.
I tried  some cabbages this year. All bar 2-3 just went into orbit & Flowered "early on".
Of the remaining 2-3 the one on the right is/was the best.
We just happened to have a bought one in so I thought I'd record the discrepancy for future reference.
