Snail House....

This is the post box at the bottom of my garden. Well, over the hedge & down the bank.
This one has been here for about 10yrs, the one before that had rusted out & finally fell off the post.
I've blipped it because as I was on my way out yesterday, I picked a snail off the post, and I was reminded that around Uplyme they fitted brushes on a lot of the box openings, as the slugs & snails had started to go into the boxes and eat the stamps and glued edges off the letters & the postman was being accused of opening the post!!!
