Peas in a pod

Sons briefly home from Cardiff and Manchester, having not seen each other since the summer, were amused to find themselves dressed almost identically in tan trousers and striped tops and socks. Usually their sartorial styles are a little different but this time they looked like long-separated twins whose appearances reveal uncanny similarities.
In fact my two are twins in a sense, born on the same date three years apart.
(I should add that almost all their clothes come from charity shops.)

We had an excellent meal in honour of The Old Man's birthday: lamb tagine (because he used to grumble that we hadn't had one for ages, even if we had) followed by those little ramekin desserts made with berries, crumbled amaretti biscuits and cream cheese, topped with muscavado sugar and popped briefly under the grill. If they have a name I don't know it. (Berry grylls perhaps?)
