On the way to Grassington, North Yorkshire Dales

We had a lovely day today exploring the Yorkhire Dales on the way to Grassington. We feel right at home here among the fields and the sheep and stopped so many times to soak up the view and replenish the soul. An absolute plethora of pictures to choose from for tonights blip.

We ambled around Grassington as if time didn't matter and then walked to Linton Falls. On the way back we went to the National Trust Fountains Abbey. A great place to visit and vast so we decided to go back another day.

In the evening we went to the Kings Arms at Sandhutton for the evening meal. Wow! this was so good and it rates a 9 out of 10 from us. We had fillet steak with pepper sauce cooked medium rare and pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and stuffed with salami and to follow a rhubarb crème brûlée with lime biscuits.

A Courvoisier brandy was a fine end to the day.
