Hometime

This was our last day in New Zealand, with only the long flight home to go.

We spent the morning exploring Christchurch again.  We first wandered over to the Re:Start Mall to do a little souvenier shopping.  We then went across to the museum, where I found this great mural on the wall.

After repacking cases with our shopping, we drove to the airport, filled the car up with petrol and dropped it off.  We then found our flight, checked in and flew through to Sydney.  There were lots of quips from the pilot (a New Zealander) about the rugby score...

Our last view of snow capped peaks was from the plane - added as an extra.

We now face a three hour wait in Sydney before the long leg through to Dubai; then it's another three hour wait before the last leg to London.
