Time and tide wait for no man or his boat

They are big tides at the moment and so on the low tide the water goes out for miles. I could have walked across to the island that tree is on except for one slippery, muddy piece. The furtherest I have seen it go out.
I have an extra but only because I couldn't decide. Liked something in each.
I think extras spoil us. If we didn't have them we would just have to decide.
I would vote not to have them. But as we do I will use them.
Please give an opinion if you prefer one or the other.
