Oh deer

A strange day, weather-wise. At home we have been under a blanket of grey and murky mist all day long which hasn't shifted. But go two miles west or south of us and it's been bright sunshine and a lovely day. W first reported this phenomenon when she returned from her Yoga class in MK this morning, and we noticed it again when meeting friends for lunch in Woburn.

I was going to do the Mono Monday challenge but then as we were driving back home through the deer park this magnificent beast was near the road; at first seated but then he stood up and after a few minutes kindly walked out of the shadows into the late afternoon sun.
