Mono Monday - Time

Another foggy day in London town. The Houses of Parliament were disappearing into the mist this evening.

Westminster and Big Ben have seen plenty of different types of fog during the long time they've stood there. From the industrial smog of the Victorian times, written about by Dickens, to the 'pea-soupers' that my grandfather said he experienced when he lived in London in the early 1930s when you could see so little, it was very easy to get lost, to the Great Smog of 1952 (that I admit I'd never heard of until I googled 'London fog' earlier).

If you ignore the London Eye and squint hard, maybe this could take you back in time to the thick smog of London past...
