* Rather painful eye on Sunday afternoon, led to visit to local minor injury unit Monday afternoon, led to emergency referral to Cheltenham eye clinic Monday night, led to diagnosis of corneal ulcer on left eye, led to eye drops every 2 hours for the next two days (and every 3 hours for another two weeks) and no contact lenses until it's fully healed! Thank goodness it was caught really really early on and there should be no permanent damage!
