Holly Lodge...

.....in Richmond Park. A little education centre offering science, nature and history activities. Today we went to learn about things in Victorian times and comparing them to now. Split into three group, my group started by visiting the Victorian classroom where different artefacts were out. Hot water bottles, irons, lamps, toasting fork etc along with today's equivalent. Then on to find out about the laundry, filling the tub up, using a posser and washing dolly. Finally we went to the chemist where the children made pills out of playdoh on a genuine Victorian pill maker. They all had great fun.

On this mural the children had to find 3 modern day items and 3 old ones!
