First Job

Daughter started her first job today in a little tearoom about a ten minute drive from the house..

Most of her friends were working last summer and they have got jobs again this summer so daughter was determined to have a bit of financial independence too.

It has worked out well as she is only working on a Wednesday although she may get more shifts depending on what days her colleagues want to work and her performance.

She was quite excited about starting but a little nervous as the time to start got nearer. I expect her to be washing a lot of dishes today and they may even let her loose on the tables today too.

I expect she will be very tired tonight.
