Enjoying what's must be about the last of the sunshine for this year. 

There's been an awful lot of medical stuff around in the last few days - as well as the usual dad-visiting, there have been nursing homes to investigate. Despite best efforts, he's not going to get well enough to return home from hospital, so the search is on for a place that ticks most of the boxes. And a flu jab and a trip to the GP for me. And medical tests which were thoroughly unpleasant and scary, but gave me the all clear to blip another day. And a seriously scabby knee from when I tripped over a kerb......(that's enough - ed)
