No person is illegal

Saulo Padilla lived in Guatemala for the first 15 years of his life. In 1986 he immigrated (via Mexico) with his mother and siblings to Canada, to reunite with his father, who left Guatemala as a political refugee in 1980.  Saulo became a Canadian citizen but is now a resident alien in the US working as an immigration education coordinator for MCC USA.  He was the leader for the six day Borderlands Learning tour which finished today.
