Scarlet Wax Caps....

.... possibly. I was having a wander around a churchyard as you do and the grass was just full of all kinds of exotic fungi including these teeny beauties. Yes, wet knees were involved in the getting of this picture but I just loved the colours. I was on my way back from a very interesting meeting with a local historian - he is just brimming with so much knowledge and information I am in awe and now I've had too much coffee and am buzzing!  Hopefully we shall have a day of fieldwork shortly.
