I went to pick up my youngest son Kieran from the bottom of the Downs where he had been Mountain Boarding & I saw this Helicopter, Kieran said they were looking for someone, but it turned out to be that a car had gone over the Cliffs at Beachy Head. I really hope the young man is ok & will be well again. Bless him.
Helicopters and rescue services were called to the scene at around 3pm.
A 20-year-old man is receiving treatment from emergency services following the fall.
The vehicle was found to have landed on the beach area. The driver, a 20-year-old man, was winched up to the coastguard helicopter.
