Nessie Country

Whilst fueling at Holm service station this morning couldn't help but notice the cloud formation coming through the Great Glen. As I had the camera with me drove on the spur of the moment the 5 miles or so to Dores at the end of Loch Ness and took this looking roughly south-west straight down the glen. Apart from being a major route the glen also seems to carry the weather through from Fort William to Inverness. The sky is pretty overcast but on the sides of the glen you can see long cloud "sausages" about half-way up the sides. Quite often we see these "sausage" pouring out at the Inverness end at low altitude. Today the water was glassy smooth. It's quite a strange effect and I'm afraid my shot doesn't really capture it.
