My Boy

Sorry but the fog was bad so there was not a shot to be had so its one from Sunday nights game in Fife of Fraser.  Someone commented that he has bulked out a little and looks every inch the hockey player, that made me smile.


I heard this song shuffle through my ipod tonight, I have not heard it for a long time but it struck me that the twins are growing so fast and have lives of their own in so many ways but still are very much children.  


My old man and I never really had a relationship, in his eyes I was never good enough, he was a perfectionist and I was never going to live up to his expectations.  I would hate Fraser ever to think of me like that, I know I can be very hard on him and I hate it. I am going to sneak this onto his MP3 player for it says a lot about what he means to me and how I want him to flourish and leave our little village behind in years to come and follow his dreams, I never got that chance for when you are told time after time you are nothing and never will be you believe it to be true.  I would never try to live vicariously through the twins I only want them to find their way and be happy.
