The Master's Stony Voice of Scamp

We pass this stony dog on our evening walks. He waits patiently for his master and mistress to pick him up and move him to a less leafy spot. He also resembles my first childhood dog Scamp, bought to get me over my fear of... dogs. US kids loved Scamp dearly and every time I return home, Scamp's paw print is still visible where he ran across Dad's newly laid concrete in about 1973. I always stop, look at it and smile. Scamp was such a dear friendly mongrel, loved by all and this stony little chap evokes his memory whenever we pass him.
