New signing

The world's press and me (well - York Press, BBC, ITV and Sky) were at York City to report on the arrival of the new manager. A few of my photos will be in some national daily papers but I'll never know as it was only the Scottish editions interested in the story. That's because Jackie McNamara was until recently manager of Dundee United and before that Partick Thistle. Really nice to be at City for the afternoon and meet Jackie and his assistant Simon Donnelly. It must have been quite daunting for the two of them but they dealt with it very well. Really nice chaps and I wish them well, particularly as their first game with the club is this Saturday in the FA Cup against Accrington Stanley and next Tuesday Barnsley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
