After all the rain

We have had loads of toadstools appearing in our lawn, many of them in the classic fairy ring layout.

This is just one clump of many. They are only small - maybe 4 or 5 cm tall. Goodness knows what my neighbours must be thinking think if they saw me patiently smoothing down all the grass in front of the toadstools. My aim was to get a clear view and avoid out-of-focus spurious blades of grass. As you can see I didn't quite manage this but never mind!
