Trafalgar Square

I got out today, and it was raining. Lots of police expecting a demonstration in Trafalgar Square, but I was heading for the Goya exhibition. Last time I came the plinth outside was sporting a splendid blue cockerel, but this time there was what looked like a horse dinosaur. There is lots to like about public art. For one thing no-one stops you taking a photo. But the Goya was magnificent. All portraits, and somehow they seemed very honest.

ps After forensic examination, I have just noticed the guy on the right is carrying his placards to the demo- all wrapped up in polythene against the rain.
