Of houses and homes

I think these two pics say it all. Top is my old flat; devoid of our possessions, the bottom is new flat with everything in boxes awaiting to be unpacked. In limbo really!

It's amazing how it is really your stuff that makes your home.

I am told this week will pass. I am sure it will; just want everything to be sorted SOON! On a much more positive note... I got my new lease! Felt all grown up writing out large cheques. (Over here, one cheque for your rent for the entire year is not uncommon. I got to do 3. Crazy, I know.)
