'Made in Taiwan'

Spotted a haze of pale purple at Nat.Trust....this sweet little flower is 'Tricyrtis formosana'......commonly known as the 'Toad Lily'. Comes from Tawain, SE Asia. Reading up on the growing of this plant...I see there is no way I can grow this in my clay soil....it prefers woodland type conditions. I first thought it was a tiny Clematis....it is VERY small! Not long walking as the rain came in hard and put a finish to that.....it was only a quick pop in anyway.
