Crank

Cars don't have cranks anymore. This 1918 Model T Ford has one. Hence my crank story:

Hazel Tallman started teaching when she was 16 years old. She was my english teacher in the 7th grade and to us seemed quite elderly at the time.

One day she made the class diagram sentences and the kids were grumbling. Mrs Tallman said, "You may think that I'm an old crank, but kids are like cars. They need a crank if they don't have a self-starter."
