'McKenzie Falls'

Woke up early this morning, but no special sunrise so decided to stay in bed until 8.

Had a shower and breakfast and then headed up into the Grampians. Drove as far as the Zumsteins picnic ground which was totally deserted before turning around and visiting the McKenzie Falls. It's about a 1Km walk down the valley to the bottom of the falls. A nice cool temperature and a slight breeze made for easy and enjoyable walking. There were about 20 people at the falls by the time I arrived.
After that I drove back towards Halls Gap, stopping at Reids Lookout and doing the walk to the Balconies (see extra shot for a pano from there).

Back down into town to get some fruit for lunch and a drink to have in the car on the way home. Stopped off at the Grampians Zoo entry just out of town and saw a couple of water buffalo and a huge horned bull of some sort (didn't actually visit the zoo).

An uneventful drive home without much traffic at all, listening to the cricket all the way. congratulations to Joe Burns on making a century in his debut test match for Australia. Looks like we have the Kiwis on the ropes in this first test.
