Day at a Time

Ornate

A morning working in the office helping to run a staff development event. The day did not start well. For a kick off it was pouring with rain. Then we discovered that despite a clear request (instruction) the security company which looks after the office had failed to unlock it. So we stood outside in the rain for 40 minutes talking to estates people in Milton Keynes till the poor office manager arrived with a key to let us in. Once we were underway it all went well, despite the significant changes on the work horizon.

Then it was a scoot across town to mum's and a few chores there. The rain stopped but I didn't have a chance to get outside for a blip, and then it was dark.

This is some of the very ornate moulding in the office building. It's proper Edinburgh New Town and was built for a squad of servants to keep clean and warm.
