10 K Day

Today was the day of the Nishinomiya Half Marathon, so I popped down there to wish good luck to my friend Julia who was competing in her first 10 K. See extra. It was then time for me to get ready for my 10 K race on Rokko Island. Also in the race were some of my colleagues from work, so there was a great feeling of camaraderie in this event. The feeling that "we are all in this together" increased, somewhat, by the heavy rain in which we ran.

I was very pleased with my time of 48 minutes. That's my fastest ever 10 K time. I hope I can maintain that during next weekend's Kobe Marathon.
