Reflections 4 - Jack Lamberton 1892 - 1916

Reflection4 - Jack Lamberton 1896 - 1916.

The view is of Edinburgh Castle, home of the Scottish National War Memorial. It's a beautiful lace where the names of all servicemen who died in the two world wars are listed in books be regiment. Many people go to look at names and you can see the wear on the pages. It is quite moving. Jack was the youngest of six. His parents died within here months of each other when he was four. Thee single aunts took on the six children which must have been a shock to the system. He was the favourite because he was the youngest. Next year it will be one hundred years but he is not forgotten.
