Remembrance

A dark and wet day for Remembrance Sunday, maybe that is fitting. Taking my lead in this photo from Jeremy Corbyn who after the ceremony at the Cenotaph was reading a Wilfred Owen poem at a ceremony in his constituency. The one he was reading was 'futility', these poems are also by Wilfred Owen and have the same message. The current state of the world doesn't make me feel optimistic that any lessons have been learnt.

Am hoping that I get a less negative response than poor old Jeremy Corbyn who can't do anything right it seems (according to the press and Twitter); he was criticised for not singing the national anthem and then for singing the national anthem and being a hypocrite, oh, and for not bowing his head sufficiently at the Cenotaph.
