Money to burn - MM

This is literally 'money to burn', joss paper used as burnt offerings to help the ancestors  in the afterlife, a Chinese Taoist tradition, they come from a pack especially for the month of the Hungry Ghosts, the 7th month of the Chinese lunar year when the spirits in the afterlife who haven't been judged yet are free to roam the earth to get food and other sustenance. For Mono Monday hosted by GoranZebhur with the theme Money, with thanks to him.

I've got it for presentations about the traditions and beliefs in Singapore and I've coloured it in a mono gold tone because that seemed to work best with the image. See the extra for the real colours.

Thanks very much for your comments, stars and even faves for yesterday's colourful dusk Blip
