High wind.. heavy rain

and low speeds..  Today was perhaps one of the worst days I have ever driven down the M6.. the wind was so strong over Shap that lorries and caravans were swinging around crazily and the rain was so heavy that it was almost impossible to see further than the bonnet of your own car.. travelling at only 40 miles an hour.  Thank heavens for Tebay.. I pulled in and stayed there as long as I could to try and let the rain come to an end.. it didn't so on I went with my journey.  So pleased to be back.. thankfully the rain stopped near Manchester and then the journey, whilst windy still, was at least little easier.  It was a fleeting, very wet but much enjoyed weekend.. for all of us.
