Pleasant evening??

It felt very nice outside, so i sat on the porch steps and watched the bats wheel about at dusk. After the mosquitoes chased me inside - where on earth did they come from? It is way too dry for them! - i checked the temperature. It was still 88deg. 88deg pleasant?? Something is seriously wrong here!

I've been staying up late (1, 2am) because it is too hot to sleep. The weather is almost never like this, much less for so long. Breaking all kinds of temperature records. Someone send us some rain!
