Wet!!

The owner of the farm where we manage the livestock in the buggy with Archie the spaniel. Todays job was to locate and bring in the cows and calves from this farm so we can wean them. We were hoping they would be nearby but they weren't so we split up looking for them. I found a main group down at the ruined fishing village. All but one of the cows and her calf were there so we took what we had in and have separated the cows from the calves. We also took off the calf that will be going to the golf course with our Hamish. He has come home to our shed so husband and I can quieten the pair of them down and get them used to being handled. A very wet day where my waterproofs failed at being waterproof so was rather wet by the end. We are hoping the final cow and calf might appear with all the noise from the weaning. She is not alone on the hill there are still another 30 beasts out there somewhere! Not the best of photos but only had my phone too wet for the camera.
