Squeaky Gate

This is a wee Dunnock that visits our garden. We have called him Squeaky Gate. This is due to his constant alarm call when our cats are in the garden it sounds just like a rusty old gate being opened and closed. Sitting high on the fence his constant squeaking can go on for as long as the cats are outside and it drives us nuts even with the doors shut the squeaking still penetrates through. Even our cats can't stand it for very long I think it's the cat equivalent of finger nails dragged down a blackboard so they begrudgingly come in and wait for the bird to go before venturing out again. However Squeaky Gate is never far away and the whole scene is rein-acted again. Even if the cats are just looking out of the window Squeaky Gate will appear and start his torturous squeaking. I am hoping Dunnocks migrate at some point.
