River Tyne at Hexham

A jaunt to Hexham this afternoon for a hair cut and took the opportunity to watch the salmon leaping at the weir below the bridge.  They were impossible so difficult to photograph as it involved predicting exactly where they would jump and without delay, pressing the shutter.  Of all the images there was only one which actually featured a salmon and it was not worthy of a blip so I have included it as an extra.  The main shot is of the Tyne looking west and the south bank of the river with the late autumn colour.

A late posting tonight as we were up at Morpeth Camera Club to hear their guest speaker, Duncan McEwan and see some truly inspirational images.
